In "Tactile" I used three tecniques to explore a space with the sound. In this recording the space is represented by a small box full of random stuff.
- Reaching the main edges, the physical limits of sorrounding space with a simple repetition of a gesture (Tactile I - gesture: throwing/falling - woodstick)
- Increasing the frequency of the same gesture (it can be different from the previous, of course) I try to focus on the smaller differences of the space (Tactile II - gesture: rubbing - brushes)
- By hitting the elements in the space I mainly focus on the variety of differences: difference of matter, spatial relations, timbre and so on as well as internal differences in each object.: the mutual positions influence the sound of each object. The minimal composition combines the previous tecniques; rapid movements and fast rubbing are continuously combined in different micro forms defined by a fragmented but persistant silence (Tactile III - gesture: hitting - mallets)
